Applications open for university-level courses in Swindon and Wiltshire sets out new opportunities for adult learners seeking higher education locally. Wiltshire College & University Centre (WCUC) has opened applications for entry in 2027, offering degree-level study in areas including business management, film production, computing, engineering and esports. Nicola Dew, quality manager for higher education and compliance, said programmes are developed with employers and university partners, with flexible routes for students progressing from Level 3 or returning to study to upskill or change careers. Course options highlighted include motorsport engineering, animal management and conservation, plus computing and cyber security. WCUC also plans two free 30-minute online virtual open events on Wednesday, 8 July, and Wednesday, 2 December. Each session includes an introduction and subject-specific breakout rooms to speak with programme leaders.
