Bill Gates is appearing before Congress over Epstein involvement
Bill Gates is appearing before Congress to answer questions about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. He will sit for a closed-door transcribed interview as part of the House Oversight Committee's ongoing review. Gates arrived on Capitol Hill around 8:45 a.m., flanked by police, security, and lawyers. The interview will not be recorded, and a transcript will be released days later. The inquiry centers on documents linking Gates to Epstein, though Gates says he had no knowledge of Epstein's crimes. Gates has denied witnessing or participating in Epstein's crimes. Epstein was convicted in 2008, arrested again in 2019, and died in prison. Emails mention Gates traveling on Epstein's private plane in 2013. Melinda French Gates described the documents as saddening and said questions lie with others.
