Broncos did not play in loss to 49ers on Sunday

Six Denver Broncos players were inactive for their Week 4 game against the San Francisco 49ers. Third-string quarterback Sam Ehlinger, offensive lineman Kage Casey, tight end Dallen Bentley, outside linebacker Dondrea Tillman (hamstring) and defensive lineman Tyler Onyedim did not play. Tillman’s absence left Denver with only three healthy outside linebackers for Sunday’s matchup. Backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham also did not take any snaps because starting quarterback Bo Nix played the entire game in Santa Clara. The article notes the Broncos will return to California next week to face the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium. Los Angeles entered the game 0-4 seeking its first win.
