Defiance Silver Receives Approval for up to 172 Drill Sites at Espiritu Copper Target, Sonora

Defiance Silver Corp. says Mexico’s SEMARNAT has approved its Informe Preventivo for the Espiritu target at the company’s Green Earth Project in Sonora, enabling exploration drilling under Mexican environmental rules. The authorization covers about 60 months and allows construction of up to 172 drill platforms and related access roads, subject to SEMARNAT conditions. The company submitted the filing as part of its commitment to comply with applicable environmental standards and regulatory requirements. Defiance credited SEMARNAT and its technical and environmental consultants for support during the permitting process. The approval is described as a major step for advancing the project and launching the next work program.
