Eugene Tavern, Neighborhood Pub Fare Gets a Chef's Fine Touch

Eugene Tavern, which opened this summer at 44 N. Main Street in Chagrin Falls, is building its identity around tavern classics—starting with the Tinman smash burger. The Schoen brothers, Michael and Tim, saw a gap after Flip Side in the area closed. The Tinman burger gained fame after it debuted at the Ohio City Galley in 2019 and later resurfaced at BottleHouse Brewery in Lakewood and Cleveland Heights. At Eugene, diners come for the Tinman ($15) but are encouraged to return for other items, including pork schnitzel. The menu also features chicken tenders ($15), brussels sprouts ($12), a seasonal salad ($14), fish and chips ($21), and a fried chicken sandwich with hot honey ($15).
