A Democratic strategist in Pittsburgh said the appearance at the GOP event is “pouring gasoline on the fire” and suggests Fetterman is unlikely to run again for the Senate as a Democrat. A last-month poll reported 23% of registered Democrats view him favorably versus 73% of Republicans. Independents are more split but supportive overall, with 49% favorable.
