Four killed as Ukraine targets fuel depot in Russian-occupied Crimea

Ukraine’s drone attacks on Russia-occupied Crimea left at least four people dead and 28 injured, according to officials reported on Sunday. The Moscow-appointed head of the peninsula, Sergey Aksyonov, said the strikes also caused fires after reports circulated of an attack on a major fuel depot. A regional political authority and the Sevastopol governor, Mikhail Razvozhayev, reported that fuel deliveries continued to be delayed or cancelled, including petrol allocations to private motorists scheduled for Sunday. Razvozhayev said fuel remained available only for official services. Telegram channels reported a fire at a fuel depot in Kerch and a large smoke plume over the city, while explosions were also reported elsewhere. Authorities closed the bridge linking Kerch to the Russian mainland overnight. The tourist sector predicted that millions of Russian visitors may stay away this summer.
