Google Flights of golf tee times': B.C. app gets you on the green quicker
An app designed like “Google Flights of golf tee times” is helping British Columbia golfers find tee slots faster, including at short notice. Founded by software engineer Soroush Vaghay-negar, TeeClub scans courses across regions such as Metro Vancouver, Sea to Sky, the Okanagan and Vancouver Island, supporting searches by date, price, group size and weather. It addresses a common issue in B.C., where some clubs release tee times at set moments—often between 9 a.m. and noon—making last-minute availability hard to monitor. TeeClub also includes a watch list that sends texts or emails when tee times open up. For on-course planning, its Rangefinder uses GPS for live distances to the green and satellite hole maps, updating yardages as golfers move from hole to hole.
