Google's Pixel 11 phones offer more proactive AI notifications and help - Engadget
Google’s upcoming Pixel 11 lineup leans heavily on software, with upgrades to Gemini Intelligence designed to make the phones more proactive. The company says the devices will generate glanceable cards inside apps, using timely, contextual information. For example, if a friend messages about a trip, Pixel 11 could surface a card with flight details and whether the flight is on time or delayed. Google also highlights location-based previews via lock-screen notifications, such as restaurant insights while you wait for a seat. Some higher-usage features may require a subscription. Pixel 11 also debuts SL2T, a sign-language-to-text model from DeepMind, plus a new Magic Capture camera tool that uses about 400 frames for a single 12-megapixel shot and can auto-edit.
