Google unveils latest Pixel phones with slimmer cameras and more AI features

Google unveiled the latest Pixel phones with slimmer camera hardware and a larger set of AI features aimed at helping users complete tasks with fewer taps and swipes. The company says the upgrade expands Gemini-based capabilities, including a way to extract photos from videos, a teleprompter, video stabilization and improved speech-to-text. Google also says the new models start with double the prior storage, beginning at 256GB, and offer 30 hours of battery life plus faster wireless charging. Pricing starts at $900 for Pixel 11, $1,100 for Pixel 11 Pro and $1,300 for Pixel 11 Pro XL; the Pixel Pro Fold starts at $1,900. Google eliminated the 128GB Pixel 11. New AI features include live translation and a “Magic Capture” mode that automates multi-photo capture with a single tap. Google also introduced Pixel Tag, a tracking device costing $30 for one or $100 for a four-pack, plus a free six-month AI Pro subscription for buyers of the Pro models.
