Half of OVHcloud capacity is available, AI model launching in early 2027, CEO says

OVHcloud expects to launch its first AI model in early 2027 and says about half of its connected cloud capacity is available for new customers, CEO Octave Klaba told Reuters on Tuesday. OVHcloud has 250 MW of capacity connected, with 140 MW operating and 110 MW ready for additional demand—letting it onboard clients without new construction, unlike rivals that may need investment in capacity. Klaba also said OVHai Workspace, its productivity platform running workplace apps on OVH’s internal data, will release a first pilot soon, followed by the first AI model next year. The model will use a mixture-of-experts design.
