Hexagon Creates A Constitution for AI, Adopted and Enforced on a Public Blockchain -- and Anyone Can Check It

Hexagon has introduced an AI governance “constitution” enforced by smart contract on a public blockchain, allowing anyone to verify adoption and actions. On September 8, Jánelle Marina Méndez Viera deployed a verified smart contract called the Guardian on Base, anchored a sealed record of founding proceedings, and adopted a written constitution whose fingerprint was permanently recorded on-chain. The Guardian’s source code is verified on BaseScan, and the AIUCN model enables AI agents to operate under delegated authority. The contract prevents actions until a constitution is adopted and allows changes only through amendments recorded on-chain. Hexagon says the platform is Hexivision under a US patent, with verification details tied to specific block numbers.
