How Jacobs' AI Infrastructure Push Could Drive Its Next Growth Phase
Jacobs Solutions is trying to turn its AI infrastructure push into a broader growth engine, with exposure expanding beyond data centers to semiconductors, power, industrial water and digital services. In fiscal third-quarter results, Jacobs said businesses tied directly to the AI build-out represented 11% of adjusted net revenues, up about 100 basis points sequentially. The company’s Advanced Facilities segment also accelerated, with adjusted net revenues up 24.2% year over year to $476 million, and gross revenues rising 116.6% to $1.63 billion, reflecting stronger data-center and semiconductor activity plus more pass-through work. Jacobs is expanding from design/advisory into digital twins and full program delivery, and its total backlog hit a record $28.9 billion.
