IOS 27.2 Rolls Out With Siri AI Upgrades, Apple Pencil Support for Duo, More

Apple rolled out iOS 27.2 on Monday after weeks of testing, bringing expanded Siri AI capabilities, new Messages Suggestions, and Apple Pencil support for the iPhone Duo. On iPhone 15 Pro and later, Siri AI can now remember past conversations, including recalling things it previously suggested. It can also tap into photo attachments in Messages, Calendar event attendees, and voicemail details for better responses, plus improve results from Safari history and Reading List. Siri AI gains granular text selection and an Excluded Apps control list. Language support expands beyond English to French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish, though the beta remains unavailable in the EU. The update adds other refinements and bug fixes, and requires iPhone 11 or newer.
