Kent man wanted for rape, kidnapping arrested in drug bust
A Kent, Washington man wanted for rape and kidnapping in King County was arrested Sept. 2 after authorities said he was responsible for pushing cocaine and fentanyl into Thurston County, according to the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Derek Sanders said the arrest occurred without incident as multiple search warrants were executed simultaneously in several locations in King County. Police seized 387 grams of fentanyl and 1,902 grams of cocaine, along with four firearms, $16,000 cash, gold jewelry, a Freightliner tow truck, a Chevrolet Monte Carlo, and a Chevrolet C8 Corvette. The suspect was booked into King County Jail facing charges including second-degree rape, kidnapping, unlawful imprisonment, and firearm-related controlled-substance offenses.
