McDonald's is rolling out BT21 Happy Meals. What's in them?
McDonald’s is rolling out BT21 Happy Meals, continuing its BTS-focused merchandise push with a new collaboration tied to the BT21 character brand. BTS, currently on a world tour and preparing to perform at the FIFA World Cup final halftime show on July 19, will have themed Happy Meals available starting next Tuesday, July 14, at participating locations nationwide. This marks the third time BTS has teamed with McDonald’s and the first for the BT21 lineup created with Line Friends. Each BT21 Happy Meal includes a BT21 character toy plus a QR code that unlocks an interactive digital experience set in BT21’s musical universe. The meal does not feature special menu items beyond the standard Happy Meal choices. The BT21 characters correspond to members’ personality traits, including RM as Koya and Jungkook as Cooky. The report notes McDonald’s has more than 900 locations in Florida.
