Myles Smith Credits Ed Sheeran With Changing His Approach to Live Shows
Myles Smith said touring with Ed Sheeran helped him change his approach to performing for large crowds. In a recent interview, Smith explained that watching Sheeran entertain audiences of nearly 100,000 people gave him a new perspective on live shows, and that Sheeran’s sense of fun onstage was the strongest impression. Smith previously opened for Sheeran during the European leg of the 2025 tour, and the two have also shared festival and other live-event stages. Smith now has a packed summer calendar: he leads his own North American tour while also opening select stadium dates on Sheeran’s LOOP tour. His last stadium appearance with Sheeran is scheduled for August 29 at Ford Field in Detroit, and he will finish headlining on September 10 in Los Angeles.
