NEW All-Star Phase 2 voting update: Only 1 day left to pick ASG starters!
The 2026 MLB All-Star Game is approaching, and Phase 2 voting is the final chance for fans to select starters at each position for the July 14 event at Citizens Bank Park. After Phase 1, the top vote-getters in each league earned automatic starting spots, including Shohei Ohtani as the NL designated hitter and Ernie Clement at second base for the AL. Phase 2 runs now through noon ET on Thursday, with online and mobile voting at MLB.com/vote, all 30 club websites, the MLB App, and the MLB Ballpark App. Fans can vote once per day. Current Phase 2 standings show, for the AL, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (57%) over Ben Rice (43%) at first base, and Bobby Witt Jr. (72%) leading Andrés Giménez (28%) at shortstop. In the outfield, Mike Trout leads with 23% among multiple candidates, while Shea Langeliers (65%) is ahead of Alejandro Kirk (35%) at catcher.
