Florida just approved new tax breaks and here's what made it into the bill

Florida lawmakers approved HB 7031E, delivering tax relief on guns, fishing gear, and tennis event admissions. The Senate passed the measure 29-6 and the House 88-11, with an estimated $272.2 million revenue reduction next year. The package liberalizes taxes for ATP Masters 1000 and WTA 1000 tournament admissions through July 1, 2029, while reviving a hunting, fishing and camping sales tax holiday from Sept. 1 to Dec. 31, covering ammunition, firearms, camping gear, rods, reels, and tackle. It also includes property tax exemptions for deployed service members, funds rural road and bridge projects, revises RV park assessments, and lowers slot machine taxes for certain Broward-area permitholders.
