John Gordon, LA Metro’s deputy executive officer of marketing and customer experience, described the rollout as a long time coming and highlighted a rider-centric design. It offers trip planning for both bus and rail and can be customized by a rider's favorite lines and stops, reflecting how the user travels. The app also begins to adapt to individual riding patterns, providing personalized information for each user. Metro also envisions future refinements that respond to major events and evolving rider needs.
