NFL Star Could Face Life in Prison After Robbery and Kidnapping Arrest - Internewscast Journal
Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold could face a sentence of up to life in prison after authorities accused him of involvement in an alleged kidnapping and robbery in Tampa in February. The Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office said Arnold surrendered to police on Wednesday and is now facing four counts of robbery with a firearm and four counts of kidnapping to harm or terrorize. He is expected to appear in court for the first time on Thursday, when prosecutors plan to formally file charges and ask a judge to keep him detained pending trial. Prosecutors allege he helped organize and direct co-defendants to lure three men to an apartment where, according to them, the victims were “robbed, beaten and held at gunpoint.” Arnold, 23, denied the allegations through his agent, Denise White of EAG Sports Management, who said there is “no credible evidence” linking him and criticized reliance on testimony from convicted felons. The Lions said they are aware of the arrest but offered no further comment.
