The tool was developed and trained by Port Authority staff, and the airports are described as among the first in the U.S. to implement the technology. Port Authority Chairman Kevin O’Toole said the assistant is meant to offer a one-stop digital resource that reduces multiple clicks and endless scrolling. Officials add that the assistant can also help users locate nearby concessions based on dietary preferences and find resources such as prayer rooms or pet relief areas.
