NYC's top construction permits: Moshe Braver plans 1K apartments in Coney Island

New York’s latest batch of construction filings includes a major multibuilding project in Coney Island and several large alterations, demolitions, and additions across boroughs. In Coney Island, Moshe Braver submitted plans for a 665,822-square-foot, 10-building development at 25-45 Seacrest Lane, 100-150 Oceanpoint Drive and 2740 West 33rd Street, totaling 989 apartments in 12-story buildings. In Borough Park, Congregation Kerem Chaim filed an 87,014-square-foot project at 1569 47th Street for a community facility and monastery, rising seven stories. Hunters Point sees Zev Mayer at Walton Developers seeking an 86,518-square-foot mixed-use building with 94 apartments across 15 stories. Sunnyside tops the alteration category: City University of New York plans to convert a property at 29-10 Thomson Avenue into an educational facility with 180,000 square feet. Other filings include an 11-story addition in Ridgewood, two major demolitions in Lenox Hill and Flushing, and teardown plans in Corona.
