NYT: Iran suspected in series of cyberattacks on U.S. water systems

Iran is considered the main suspect in a series of cyberattacks that disrupted water supply systems in at least seven U.S. states, according to The New York Times citing federal officials. The source has not been officially confirmed, and the investigation remains ongoing, but U.S. authorities believe hacker groups linked to Iran may be responsible. More than 30 water supply systems were targeted, including Minnesota, where issues were reported Sunday and Monday, and Michigan, which also saw cyber incidents.
