Peter Pappas joins HDR as New York/New Jersey Transportation Manager
HDR hired Peter Pappas, P.E., bringing more than 30 years of experience across multiple markets to a new role as New York/New Jersey transportation manager. Based in HDR’s Manhattan office, he will lead operations and support business development and overall program growth. His portfolio will cover roadways, transit, railroads, shipping ports, and airports. HDR says Pappas has extensive experience in New York’s infrastructure and transportation landscape in both public and private sectors, including managing construction projects worth billions of dollars. Among the projects he contributed to are the Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge and the JFK Airport Redevelopment, along with railroad engineering and operations experience from prior roles and consulting.
