Police appeal following "targeted attack" by armed men in Glasgow

Glasgow police are appealing for witnesses after a targeted attack by three armed men in a dark blue Renault Clio. At about 12:10am, a silver Nissan Micra was deliberately struck on the eastbound M74 off slip toward Polmadie Road; the Clio followed and more collisions occurred on Polmadie Road and Aikenhead Road. Detective Inspector Stephen Greenshields said the assault appeared aimed at the Micra driver. Police urged anyone with dash-cam, CCTV or doorbell footage near Polmadie and Aikenhead Road to review material and call 101, reference 0032 of 13 June. No injuries were reported and investigations continue.
