Racing Bulls boss' advice to his F1 drivers: Learn from Max Verstappen's radio

Racing Bulls team principal Alan Permane told drivers Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad to learn from Max Verstappen’s radio communication, especially given their limited experience entering the 2026 F1 season. Permane said the team uses GPS and listens to Verstappen’s radio to highlight how calm the four-time world champion remains and how high-quality his feedback is. He also called Verstappen a “benchmark” for both pace and demeanor in and out of the car. Lawson and Lindblad are considered the least experienced pairing on the grid, with 35 combined grand prix starts, far behind the next-closest duo. Through early 2026 races, Lindblad has matched closely in qualifying and points, and Permane expects “nip and tuck” battles all year.
