Security startup V12, an AI-first offensive security company, raised a $10 million seed round led by Electric Capital to build autonomous systems that find and exploit software vulnerabilities at scale. The funding follows V12’s claim that an AI agent independently earned a $2.5 million bug bounty by identifying a critical flaw in a major blockchain that allegedly put more than $100 million in user funds at risk. The round reportedly includes participation from well-known crypto security researchers ZachXBT, samczsun, and Walden Yan, plus other angels, and V12 did not disclose valuation or institutional investors.
