Sheeran's tour in trouble after opening acts drop out in solidarity with rapper Macklemore

Ed Sheeran’s North and South America tour ran into fresh turbulence Tuesday after four supporting acts quit in solidarity with rapper Macklemore, who was dropped following pro-Palestinian comments made onstage. Within hours of Sheeran posting that Macklemore’s removal was attributed to the tour promoters, Irish acts Aaron Rowe and Beoga, the Danish band Lukas Graham, and Finneas announced on Instagram they were leaving the tour. Rowe and Lukas Graham were set to replace Macklemore on remaining U.S. dates, while Beoga had been performing with Sheeran mid-set. Finneas was scheduled to tour with him in South America later this year.
