SolitAir appoints ATC as dangerous goods training partner
SolitAir has appointed Dubai-based Aviation Training Center (ATC) as its preferred training services provider for dangerous goods. The arrangement aims to equip SolitAir's growing team with the latest approaches, techniques, and competencies in handling and transporting dangerous goods. The transport of dangerous goods by air falls under a strict IATA-enforced framework, revised annually to reflect new risks and evolving cargo profiles. ATC Dubai is recognized for its rigorous training standards and regulatory compliance, holding approvals from the UAE GCAA and IATA, with CBTA programs to support safety and operational readiness. Hamdi Osman, founder & CEO of SolitAir, noted the 67th edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations becomes mandatory from January 1, 2026, introducing significant updates on lithium batteries and standardized operator variation wording.
