Suspects identified, new details released in Chino Hills kidnapping, execution

Chino Hills authorities released new details after a violent kidnapping that ended in deaths Wednesday night, including the identification of two suspects and the victim. Investigators say 60-year-old Shukur Aikebaer left his home on the 2100 block of Monteverde Drive around 10:15 p.m. to check an electrical panel after service was interrupted. Two suspects—67-year-old Zhengfeng Bo and 66-year-old Jianquan Bo—allegedly shot and kidnapped Aikebaer, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. Authorities say the pair tried to flee in a Nissan Altima but stopped near a home on Wandering Ridge Drive, where more gunfire erupted. Deputies killed Zhengfeng Bo; Aikebaer died despite lifesaving efforts. The motive remains under investigation, though the sheriff’s department said Zhengfeng Bo knew Aikebaer through a previous work relationship. Jianquan Bo was arrested and held without bail after being booked on murder and kidnapping suspicions.
