T-mobile customers will have to pay monthly fee for iOS 27 feature

Apple rolled out iOS 27 on Sept. 14, but T-Mobile customers will face an extra monthly charge to use one of its new iPhone features. According to MacRumors, the carrier will bill $5 per month for iPhone Handoff, which lets users use one phone number across two compatible devices. T-Mobile is currently the only U.S. carrier that supports the feature. The same number can be used on only one device at a time. The handoff also applies to things like IDs, corporate badges and some transit passes, while Apple Wallet payment cards and car keys remain usable across both devices.
