Teenage cyclist dies after hit-and-run collision at Nugentstown, Kells

A teenager has died following a hit-and-run collision involving a van and a bicycle in County Meath, in the Republic of Ireland. Gardaí said the crash occurred at about 20:05 local time on Tuesday at Nugentstown, Kells. Police reported that the van did not remain at the scene, where the cyclist was pronounced dead. The coroner has been notified, and the road remains closed as authorities investigate.
