The Ride Platform Evolves Its AI-Native Fleet Management Software Platform for the Operator Economy

The Ride Platform unveiled Wheelbase 2.0, an AI-native fleet management software suite for independent rental operators spanning auto rental, car-sharing, RV, boat and AV fleets. Announced in Austin on Nov. 5, the version rebuilds Wheelbase around built-in agents intended to help operators manage their businesses globally, and introduces a Wheelbase App Exchange to add vetted tools from partners and other operators without data migration. The launch partners include Roamly Insurance & Protection, Roamly Fleet, FleetPilot for bookkeeping and vehicle-level profit and loss, TollSpot for toll management, and KYCS for vehicle tracking and recovery. Wheelbase 2.0 is available now for auto operators, with RV operators moving in early 2027 and a redesigned mobile app expected in Q1 2027.
