Twisted Tea will sponsor a Fan Appreciation Night at Thompson Speedway on Wednesday, July 8, marking the first such event at the track. The announcement follows a successful trial run at Oxford Plains Speedway, and involves officials from the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) and the American-Canadian Tour (ACT). Local partner businesses in Southern New England are offering free tickets for the event, and the venue will open grandstands at 4:00 p.m. Racing will begin with a 6:00 p.m. post time, featuring the New England Supermodified Series with the Big Block Supers, plus Thompson Sunoco Modifieds, Late Models, SK Light Modifieds, Street Stocks and Crown Vics. Adult general admission is $35, kids 6–12 are $10, and children under five enter free. The North East Short Track Network will stream Wednesday Night Racing all season.
