WatchOS 27: 12 New Things To Check Out on Your Apple Watch

Apple released watchOS 27 on September 14, bringing updates that aren’t limited to owners of the Apple Watch Series 12 or Apple Watch Ultra 4. For compatible models, installation starts by opening the Watch app on an iPhone, going to General, then Software Update, and following on-watch prompts after charging the device. Highlights include a dedicated Siri app, designed to show conversation threads in one view with private syncing via iCloud. A new Siri watch face adds a rectangular Smart Stack complication. watchOS 27 also changes the Digital Crown behavior with a dynamic app grid and adds a third Tap gesture. Walkie-Talkie is removed, and Live Rewind is coming later as App Switcher access changes in 27.
