Why You Should Be in the Room for Next Week's County Executives Forum

Oakland County Executive David Coulter, Wayne County Executive Warren Evans, and Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel will appear with Channel 4 anchor Jason Colthorp on Friday, Oct. 30, at The Seven in Ferndale for The County Executives: Driving the Region Forward. The Detroit Regional Chamber event will focus on infrastructure, talent pipelines, housing, and economic attraction, with business leaders able to ask questions directly to the county executives. With a new Michigan governor set to be elected days after the forum, the discussion aims to sharpen a unified regional voice on road and bridge funding, flood mitigation, housing production, and public safety, alongside topics like international investment, advanced manufacturing, defense assets, transit, and sustainability. Registration remains open for chamber members.
