You can now link your favorite apps to AI Mode in Google Search to get things done

Google says connections are secure and let users link select third-party apps directly to AI Mode so Search can handle actions across services. The initial rollout focuses on everyday needs that often begin with a Google query, such as organizing grocery lists via Instacart, generating flyer or invitation options through Canva, and creating event-ready playlists using YouTube Music. Google frames this as a shift from search results toward a more assistant-like experience, with additional app partners expected soon.
