Your public Discord messages may soon appear in Google search results - how to opt out - ZDNET

Discord says it will roll out “Discoverable Servers,” a feature that can make messages from very large servers searchable on Google and other engines. Starting mid-December 2026, Discord plans to create a dedicated web page for each eligible server, listing a community description and summaries of conversations posted in public channels. Server admins can choose which channels appear—or disable even the description. Individual users can opt out in their Data and Privacy settings, including a control to block their message text and data from appearing on Server Web Pages. Discord says private DMs, group chats, and non-discoverable servers will remain private and undiscoverable.
