Americans made a small dent in Internationals lead at the Presidents Cup

Americans cut into the International lead at the Presidents Cup on Saturday in Medinah, Illinois, winning the morning fourballs session narrowly. Scottie Scheffler and Sam Burns delivered a late rally to ensure the U.S. reduced the deficit to 8 1/2-5 1/2 heading into the afternoon foursomes. The International side started the pivotal double round with its biggest lead since the event began in 1994, yet slipped when Scheffler sank a 20-foot birdie on the 15th to square the match and Burns followed with a clutch birdie on the 16th and closed with another on 17. The day also featured Tom Kim and Si Woo Kim going 3-0 for the week.
