Strasbourg forward Martial Godo drew attention before kickoff with a warm-up routine aimed at his vision. The 23-year-old Ivorian reportedly tested his sight by mentally visualizing game situations before stepping onto the pitch, treating it as a form of mental preparation. The odd pre-match exercise appeared to work: Godo went on to score as Strasbourg routed Auxerre 5-1. It was also a limited appearance so far for him this season, with just two games played. In 2025/26, Godo scored 16 goals in 43 matches for Strasbourg.
