Atlanta Dream stave off elimination, beat Golden State to force deciding Game 7

The Atlanta Dream kept their WNBA Finals hopes alive, beating the Golden State Valkyries 80-69 in Game 6 at State Farm Arena on Thursday to force a decisive Game 7. Allisha Gray led Atlanta with 23 points, while Rhyne Howard added 21 and Angel Reese contributed 15 points and 14 rebounds. Game 7 is set for Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Chase Center in San Francisco. The matchup came with an unusual 12:30 p.m. tip-off time, and the Atlanta Hawks adjusted their regular-season schedule, moving their game against the Cleveland Cavaliers to 8 p.m. Earlier in the week, the Hawks shifted again to accommodate other finals hosting needs. Atlanta sold out Games 3, 4 and 6.
