Black Maidens to Face Argentina in U-17 WWC Round of 16

Ghana’s U-17 women’s team, the Black Maidens, will play Argentina in the Round of 16 at the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco after beating Canada 2-0. The win secured second place in Group C, with goals from substitutes Linda Achiaa and Christiana Ashiaku. After a lively first half, coach Joe Nana Adarkwa made three changes, including Achiaa for Jessica Appiah Asamoah.
