Bonnie Tyler’s family has confirmed funeral plans in Wales following the singer’s death at age 75, anchoring a series of events for fans to attend. Her real name is Gaynor Hopkins. The family said a celebration of life will take place next month in her native Wales, after she died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 8, in a hospital in Faro, Portugal, where she lived, following illness treated there. Tyler’s coffin will be brought to her home in Mumbles on Saturday, Aug. 15 at 3:30 p.m. local time, with fans invited to line Newton Road 15 minutes beforehand. A service at Swansea Minster follows on Monday, Aug. 17 at noon. She will then travel to Skewen for a private family visit.
