Boston.com highlighted that Boston placed No. 3 among the best big cities in the U.S. in Conde Nast Traveler’s 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards, released Tuesday. San Francisco ranked No. 2 and Chicago took the top spot. Conde Nast Traveler characterized Boston as “one of America’s greatest and most enduring cities,” citing nearly 400 years of history and the city’s repeated reinventions, from birthplace of the American Revolution to an academic hub and a biotech center. The article also points to Boston’s universities, with about 150,000 international students keeping the city busy year-round, and to its food and drink scene.
