Bradman to finally don the green and gold in World Cup clash with Fiji
xCruzo Brief
Bradman Best will make his Australia debut when the Kangaroos face Fiji at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on Sunday night. After being benched in last week’s 24-22 win over New Zealand and unused during the 2024-25 national squad period, Best is set to start in the centres, with Latrell Mitchell moving to jersey No.19 off the bench. Named by coach Kevin Walters for an 8:05pm kick-off, Best will be Australia’s 21st player to represent the club in the Knights’ 38-year history, following Dane Gagai in 2017. Multiple other squad changes are detailed, including James Tedesco at fullback and Blayke Brailey’s Test debut at hooker.
