Bristol City pair Ingle and Bentley sign new deals

Bristol City has agreed new contracts with Sophie Ingle and Fran Bentley ahead of the new season. The club announced both deals through official website posts over the past couple of days. Goalkeeper Bentley’s agreement came first: the 25-year-old, already under contract at Ashton Gate, has now committed her future to Bristol City until summer 2029. Bentley initially joined “The Robins” on loan from Manchester United in 2021/2022 before making the move permanent at the end of that campaign, and has since made close to 100 appearances in all competitions. Midfielder Ingle followed, extending her contract until summer 2028. The 34-year-old is in her second spell with the club and started every game in Barclays WSL2 last season, scoring four goals.
