Caddo Mills to hold ribbon cutting for City Lakes Park

Caddo Mills will hold a ribbon-cutting for City Lakes Park at 11 a.m. on Oct. 29, even though the park is already open to the public at 2000 County Road 2700. The new outdoor space features two stocked fishing ponds with bass, bluegill and catfish, plus a walking path and natural surroundings. Officials say more amenities are planned, including benches, a playground, multiple fishing docks and restroom facilities. Residents are invited to attend the ceremony as the community marks the arrival of a new recreation spot designed to support outdoor time in Caddo Mills.
