Wolves head coach Cesar Peixoto praised a sharp, clinical performance after his side beat Cardiff 3-0 at Molineux in the Sky Bet Championship. Fer Lopez, Adam Armstrong and Ladislav Krejci scored headed goals as Wolves made it back-to-back home wins without conceding, moving up to third place. The win extended Wolves to four matches unbeaten and ended Cardiff’s three-game unbeaten run. Peixoto said the goals reflected a clear focus on taking chances inside the box, including set-piece work that freed Krejci. Cardiff boss Brian Barry-Murphy described a difficult first half and “soft goals” after turnovers that gave Wolves momentum.
