Democrat Andy Beshear on pursuing "The Great American Reset"

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear used a Kentucky Distillers’ Association meeting in Louisville to press his case for “The Great American Reset,” urging President Trump to roll back tariffs he says are damaging U.S. bourbon and inflaming tensions with Canada. Beshear told the crowd that, even before the tariff dispute, bourbon sales in Canada had fallen 85%, and he said Trump’s comments insulted Canadians. The Democrat, nearing 49, is also promoting a memoir, Go and Do Likewise: How We Heal a Broken Country, to be published Tuesday by St. Martin’s. He argued Democrats should better engage voters of faith and criticized proposed cuts to SNAP benefits as “not Christian.”
